Will and Ethan Continued

Now, where was I? Oh, yes, Ethan and Will sleepover. Well, the next day they decided at lunchtime that they were going to play resront (Restaurant). They opened up a Peanut Jutter n Belly Resront. First thing of course is to set the table...

Then of course comes the ingredients for your peanut jutter and belly. mmmm mmmm!

Then of course there should always be climbing in the kitchen! (No adult help allowed!)

The proud owners worked very, very hard!

Fine Dining at it's best!

Of course there had to be some tuhzert (dessert)! One resront owner had to make cookies. The other one was off to bigger and better things to play, of course, by this time.
Just how close can you space cookies? : ) They had fun that day! I had fun just watching!
Next comes Christmas! I got a new tree this year! A 9 foot tree. I think I chopped off the Angel in this picture, but I was excited. After decorating, I realized there is really not that much more room on a 9 foot tree! It was still crowded! I love all of my ornaments and guess next year I will put up another tree in a different room...
On Christmas Eve we go to my mom's house. Chaos would be a good description of what happens when that many people get together to eat and start ripping open gifts. I have two brother's (Gary and David) and two sisters (Vicky and Marla). (The extras are a great niece, Adrianna and a cousin, DeEddra) I have 5 Nephews and 4 nieces (plus my two kids) and I have 4 GREAT nephews and 3 GREAT nieces. My cousin has 2 sons and a daughter. They are very much like my nephews and nieces. She is like a sister to us.

My mom only has one brother and he only has one daughter. My cousin above, DeEddra.
They are very close to us. Anyway, I love them all and cherish this chaotic time we have together!

I have a few more pictures to add to this, but for now I am tired of getting them here! More to be continued from my photo gallery... I have the Christmas at home, Christmas with Jeff's family, deer hunting, pageants and more to come! (I'll bet you are just DYING for me to finish!) ha ha Remember, I told you this blog is for me, so it may get a little boring to normal people! God bless you all!

I've been tagged! (Oh, boy!)

Tank's Getaway (Who I've neve met, but apparently works with my sister) tagged me with a photo challenge. Here are the rules:
1) Go to the 4th folder in my computer where you store your pictures.2) Pick the 4th picture in that folder.3) Explain the picture.4) Tag 4 people to do the same.
I'm not even sure how to tag anyone! But this picture is of Anna, Emily, and Haley on a trip to Jackson for Anna's 14th birthday. We were in the movie theatre. They are a wonderful group to hang out with and we really had a wonderful day!
I choose...
Beth
Jill
Kelly and
Chonda! : )

Catching Up

I know I am not a good blogger, but I started this blog for myself to keep up with life events. Of course I say I am much too busy living it to blog about it. However, downloading pictures brought up some things that I do want to blog about and remember. I guess I will just take them by the order they are on my camera...

First is my little William making a salad to go with supper all by himself! He is too funny! He loves to help in the kitchen! He is such a little chef!

Who doesn't love a pound of cheese on their salad?

Next, is SNOW day! A very stressful day for me for work reasons, but I did take a few pictures. I have never seen such a heavy snow in all of my life here! I do regret that I was too upset to enjoy the snow!

Guess who my little Ethie is after! Doesn't he make a cute snow angel? This is my sweetie pie nephew, Ethan!
That day was my sister, Marla's birthday! That night we had a surprise birthday for her! It was too fun! I didn't get many pictures for some reason! It is also her daughter's birthday. However, she does so much for her, that we focused on my sister for the night! I think she had fun!

The next day, I had Ethan spend the night I believe because it was Gabby's birthday party at her house, but anyway.... Will came home that day and decided to work on my sink. (Not sure what the problem was, but Bob the builder (or Larry the Cable Guy!) is on patrol...

If that's not enough to entertain you, next time I see them Diego and Elton John are on the case! I thought I would laugh til I cried when I saw Ethan! They are just too funny! I have much more to post about their adventures of a peanut jutter belly restaurant the next day. However, I am tired for one night! This is to be continued! God Bless!

Tooth Fairy

Poor William has had a loose tooth for a while now. His permanent tooth actually came in behind his baby teeth! (Anna's did the same thing!) However, the dentist wouldn't pull his, and wanted to give it a month. I finally had enough, and it had to come out today! Of course by the time he got through screaming, it was over! So, we have lost our first tooth! (FINALLY!) I had never seen teeth that came in behind baby teeth until Anna did it. I totally freaked out when she had permanent teeth in the bottom of her mouth! I was ready to rush her to the emergency room! I took her immediately to the dentist, and he had to pull both bottom baby teeth. Now, Will had the same thing, only it was one tooth. Same dentist says, give it time, it is getting loose. (Didn't feel the least bit loose to me, but what do I know?) Anyway, we started wiggling and it finally loosened. Tonight I decided it was coming out come hell or high water! I am going to look on the bright side... saved me 70 plus bucks I am sure! I'll just go ahead and start saving for the braces! : )

Fear

I know, I know, I really do suck at this blogging thing! I had a strange feeling that I would! I have many pictures I would like to post and many stories to tell, but they will take more time than I have to tell or show. I have a teenager! She is a marvelous, wonderful child! I spend a LOT of time following her around with Will in tow, but she is worth it. She is a sweet girl and a good girl. We are on the precipice of change in my house and I am scared to death. Tonight she is in Ridgeland at a soccer game that she didn't get to play in, so I didn't go. (Shocking I know!) She has a new boyfriend, and this is the second one this year. I have spent the last 14 years caring for, protecting, nurturing, and loving this baby. How in the world do you let them go????? I know that God is there for me and I pray a great deal for guidance and peace. Of course, I forget and take the worry and fear with me when I am done. I do know better, but it just seems to be my way. I want my children to grow up and be responsible citizens of this world. I want them to be happy and productive. I know they have to make their own decisions and their own mistakes to learn from. (Not that she has made any, I'm just saying in general) I have spent a lot of energy and love trying to protect her from harm and heartache, but now I have to let her go and experience things without me. Of course, I am always here for her, I always will be... BUT, I will let her grow in new ways and learn new things on her own too. No matter how much it breaks my heart. If you read this, please say a little prayer for me and my babies, and all children who are on the edge of adulthood. I pray for her safety, her happiness, and her ability to make good decisions. I know she has up until now, and I am so very thankful for this child who has been nothing but a blessing to me. She is never ugly, never talks back, and is always loving and respectful. She is always smiling, giggling, and just a happy person. I certainly don't deserve such a wonderful child, but God did bless me exceedingly, abundantly with this one. I pray that His blessings for her are the same.

"Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it. "
Proverbs 22:6

"But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:31

Where does time go?

Wow, it has been a long time that you have had to look at Jeff's rough looking face! Sorry! He is doing much better and I am good too. Nothing major wrong with either one of us! : ) I guess we will make it a few more years. Things have been really busy with the Holidays and working. Although I have had two weeks off, I have had a very busy time off. Filled with celebrations, cooking, cleaning, organizing, etc. Not that I feel very organized. I feel more behind than ever actually. Back to work on Monday! That will be tough! I am a night owl and could stay up til morning and sleep all day. Apparently my kids are like that too!

I will have pictures from Christmas up soon I hope! Since I have last blogged we have had a monumental snow, a birthday party for my sister, a trip to Starkville with my GNO's, Christmas celebrations to write about and New Years Eve! I spent two days undecorating for Christmas, and noticed today I forgot to take down the Santa Flag! Oh, well, life goes on! I am not the best blogger in the world, it falls into my cooking and cleaning category! I hope everyone had a blessed Christmas and I wish you only the BEST for the New Year! God's Blessings on you is my prayer! Back with more soon I promise! : )

Stuff Happens

Well, I thought that the last blog was long! Thanksgiving Holidays ended with this.... When will Jeff ever learn not to make me mad???? Nah! Just kidding! As I was trying to decorate the front porch for Christmas on Sunday, Jeff comes to the front door and says, "Come help me please" and walks away. When I get to the bathroom, his face is COVERED in blood! I immediately panic, but he is walking and talking, so I calm down a little. I start cleaning his face and discover the source - a very nasty gash over his right eye. So, to the emergency room we go. When I had last seen Jeff, he was napping in the recliner. However, while I was hanging garland and lights, he decided to go put up a deer stand. Mr. Bein is not afraid of heights at all, so he thought nothing of climbing to the top to secure the stand with a chain even though the stand was not stable to the tree! So, he fell (probably 15 feet if I had to guess how tall those stands are) I am going to measure them this weekend! Aparently he fell on his face! We are so blessed that is was not any worse than it was. We spent a 3rd trip to the ER in a weeks time getting x-rays and stitches. Dr. Larkin was the lucky one on call. He is always so calm that it has a calming effect on me. Jeff is sore, but he walked out of those woods and home and that is what matters! Thank you, God, for protecting him when he wasn't looking out for himself!
So, I went back to work on Monday but was scheduled to have a colonoscopy and Upper GI as well on Tuesday. Of course, Will wakes up Tuesday running a 99.6 fever and isn't feeling well! My mother is an angel and kept him while Jeff and I went for my test/procedure. I must say it was an experience! The before and after definitely stink, but the stuff they put you to sleep with is really good! I survived they whole ordeal. There were two polyps and one was rather large. The doctor said it definitely would have turned into cancer in a few years! That is just scary. Now I have to do this every 3 years! So far in my quest to find out what the pain is I am having in my abdomen, I have found a dermoid cyst and had to have surgery to remove the right ovary and cyst, and now we have discovered polyps that had to be removed. The sad thing is that none of these things are causing the pain that I am having.... So, the wonderful doctor wanted me to have a CT scan of my abdomen. I did that today! Unfortunately you have to drink stuff that looks like and has the consistency of thin glue! Banana flavored glue! (It was better than the colonoscopy stuff - I ended up throwing half of it back up!) Anyway, no word on the abdomen scan. I'm just praying that they don't find another extra part that I need to have removed. I only just turned 40 and the falling apart starts already! On top of all of this Will was running fever and not feeling well at all. Mom really helped me out this time! Jeff was scheduled for the Cardiologist tests on Wednesday, so I have missed most of 3 days of school this week. I am ready for things to get back to normal. Neither of us know anything from any of our tests yet.
Will is feeling better now, but I did have him out in the weather for the parade! I know - STUPID!!! I bundled him up really good! I'm keeping my fingers crossed...
Some would say that when it rains it pours. I say: Thank you, God! Thank you for the doctors we have to help us. Thank you for saving us from danger. Thank you for causing us pain that leads us to discover things that could cause us more harm later on! Thank you for healthy children that get the sniffles every now and then, but have no other problems! Thank You from the bottom of my undeserving heart!
